Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Can I fuck defeat the walloper, the f***ing arsehole.

You need to parry his attack, once you do this it's relatively easy as he gets knocked to the ground from memory.

I got utterly sick to death about listening to the "wallop" again and again until I googled it.

On a different theme I watched the Dig last night on Netflix and then went to explore the Sutton Coo area in Valhalla. It's pretty much spot on.

I don't find there is much of a grind. I'm level 170 but already completed all the monastery raids and I breeze through it without having to spend ages levelling up. It's on normal difficulty.

Cheers, will give that method a go this evening. I f just been trying to dodge the walloper and then get a few digs in, but he his good at dodging them as well.

I'm enjoying the game and feel like i am nearing the end of it now. Must be upto 350+ Power. I only play games on Normal difficulty now, they are so big i dont like wasting time trying to do one thing.
Fuck sake. That worked straight away first try.

I started playing this the other day as a break from fifa. I’m only in the opening area still I’m enjoying it but I don’t know if I prefer odyssey.

I fought some lost drengyr last night in a cave, took me a few tries before I finally beat him.

you did well if you beat him before going to England, he's a pretty high level and you're not really meant to tackle him until you come back after being in England for a while to level up.

Oh, I thought I was just bad at the game.

I didn’t realise you could go back so I wanted to clear everything here, I’m only 13 power level but only on normal difficulty so maybe that’s why I could beat him

You have done quite well there then. I did him when I was about 150 but it was a very easy fight then. Norway is basically a giant tutorial, game proper begins in England.

thats some good fighting. You get a great weapon too for beating him, the spear. I loved dual wielding two big spears

I wouldnt bother trying to clear everything in the game. you'll be there forever!

I'm done after 120 hours and there's still tons of stuff to do.

Haha I must be class then. I didn’t even look at the spear, I just assumed it was going to be poor.

I’ll probably ahead for the story mission next time I’m on now I know I can go back.

I have yeah. Once I’m done with the main story I’m never really arsed playing on anymore. It was enjoyable but too much of a grind doing the same thing over and over.

played god of war afterwards. It’s just so much better in every way.
Thought I had finished the main story last night after going back to Norway with Sigurd, but seemingly not.

Mind going back to Norway was one of the most tedious things I have done in a game recently.

I must be the only person who couldn't get into god of war.
