The fact of the matter is that there will always be someone who ‘admires the passion of the fans’. Predominantly because no matter how shite we get, about 30k of us drag our arses to home matches. That means there is potential for the club, if managed well with good investment, to be successful and enjoyable for the buyer. Methven knew that when got his shares and knew it when he was trying to sell them too. Sadly for him and others who’ve gone before him, the passion of the fans also means that we, quite rightly, tell temporary custodians of our club what we think if it’s not being properly looked after. The job for KLD is to not be telt the same things others have and to get it right.

Yeah, and I think the icing on the cake was them kicking the fuck out of the youth/development setup. Hardly any worthy first team players, the best left for peanuts, and no youth coming through - we suddenly looked hollowed out.

Methven hasn’t even had the decency to apologise for his numerous unsavoury, spiteful outbursts against the fan base, even though it would be perceived as tokenism by most supporters anyway.
He’s said too much, too often, to be accepted back into the fold. His arrogance brought it all on himself and there’s little doubt that KLD and the high powered associates he has brought into SAFC today will be aware why he’s the only PR bloke in history who.....needs a PR guru. Beyond belief that public relations is his game-staggering.
