Cole Kitchen

What do you think about the price of expensive wine? Genuinely interested do you have the same opinion on wine as you do beer? Do you only drink Blue Nun 😂

@Butchers Coat
Don't drink wine to be honest.
I have had the odd bottle of Campo Viejo Tempranillo mind, and enjoyed it.

So do you like to quaff Lambrusco?

Just thinking, be canny odd me saying I will get my usual Sunday coffee if it wasn't open on a Sunday

It's the best option in many mainstream pubs tbf. But gets left behind with the proper gear.

He's always on about costs of things. Walks out of places if he thinks it's a bit pricey. Each to their own like but life's too short for that type of carry on.
😂
Don't even set foot through the front door to be honest ;)

Just off the seafront at Roker. Well worth a visit if you want a sarnie or a coffee down the beach.

Pastrami, Emmental & Mustard toasted sourdough sarnie today was class.

Support local

Used to be Faustos didn’t it. Going to try that sarnie as it sounds tremendous

There was a one day special full of all kinds of meat. The burger looked good too.

See they haven’t scrimped on the decor mind. A nice counter made out of the cheapest materials around. I honestly can’t see where my £9 is going.

Tbh that's the first I look for in a take away bait place, the counter (not that the counter was like that when it was operating pre covid).

Not a coffee drinker but the food at Cole is class. Easily the best from any of the places on Roker or Seaburn seafronts. And it's not all nine quid. Pretty sure a lot of it is cheaper than what you'd pay for a McDonald's meal.

Also, I've never understood people who look down on what other people choose to spend their own money on. Each to their own surely?

It looks like a class sandwich but £9 is overpriced to be fair. I had a bagel from an independent place in Manchester last week with pastrami, gherkins, sauerkraut and mustard, which was only £3.50 and absolutely tremendous
