Charlie Bronson. The prisoner

I just can’t understand why people give him to time of day.
the man is a horrible human who has made his own life choices, choices that were available to you and I.
I haven’t come across him but once was ready.
unfortunately he took someone hostage so went somewhere else.
actually would like to see him released and as n old man be forced into meeting wannabe gangsters giving him a proper kicking, one that twat deserves.

ruined many lives bronson. Bully, gobshite. Etc etc.

We definitely need cover in Central defence, could do a job for us. Good first touch and hard as nails no nonsense defender is Charlie B, bit of a hot head though takes no prisoners except as hostiges. We have had worse signings mind.

No way.

Bronson would carve Johnson up like a turkey if he tried to give him orders on the pitch. Bronson takes orders from no man, anyone that does is taking a bleeding liberty.

There was a chapter where he spoke about assaulting and terrorising a young cell mate for farting in their cell. He seemed to think his actions were entirely justified. I finished the book and thought he sounded an absolute tosser and a bully.

I haven’t read his book , nor will I.
But I bet he didn’t put in about trying to intimidate a newly arrived prison officer at Wakefield and jumped towards him in a bid to scare him.
The new P.O knocked him clean out (as unbeknown to Charlie) the lad was the Navy boxing champion prior to joining the prison service.

And I got that from a friend who worked at Wakefield at the time.

I struggled to finish it. It was laughable. "What the system does to a man", as I've said absolutely zero self awareness.

No, there was no mention of anything other Bronson bigging himself up as some sort of a anti-hero.

Justifies my decision not to bother reading it.
Cheers 👍
