Well we know that is not going to be the fastest car then! What stands out is how small those 13 inch rims look.
Imagine when we get 18 inch wheels and low profile tyres.
The ride will be bone jarring.
I know it's 2022 rule change but has there been any mention of the impact of 18" wheels on brakes?
i assume better cooling, difference Disc and calliper configurations to get same performance. Will be harder to heat the tyres from brakes too if they are not allowed to make them bigger

Won't they add more suspension to make up for it? And it'll be damped suspension, so the cars will be faster?

While looking for a video on this on Youtube (there are a few, TheRACE and Autosport have great informative channels, and the official F1 channel isn't too bad), I found this video from Driver61 containing a superb little piece of cheating which I never knew about before... how the teams worked out when the lights would go out, to remove the driver's reaction time and got busted live on TV...

Engineers have always done this.
I like the lotus one from Colin chapman - basically the regs meant cars were weighed with all fluids topped up so lotus installed water cooling on their brakes but really after the start the driver hit a button and it pumped the water out the 4 tanks on the car for the supposed water cooling. Car is now lighter.
Before the car was weighed again at the end of the race all fluids were tipped up and the lotus made the minimum weight.
Chapmans ethos was “add lightness” .

Williams did this as well, and it indirectly lead to the FISA FOCA split in 1982. Ken Tyrrell took it to extreme and shoved lead shot in as well and got disqualified for illegal fuelling. I think this is what cost Brundle his podium at Monaco.

I had to look it up and found this -
Ronnie Peterson, who drove the car in 1977, could never get on with the six-wheeler either, but Depailler, who is routinely credited as being a major driving force for the project and scored eight podiums with the car over two years, was a much bigger fan, revelling in its 'pointy' oversteer characteristics.

Not sure how I feel about a pink Williams though!
On the face of it, a far better choice in terms of performance trajectory, history and pedigree, new ownership/investment, Mercedes power, the fact that the team isn't already its own title sponsor. Not to mention the Haas drivers being two rookies, one of which is an absolute bellend and a marketing liability.
