Are you his agent ?
The point I was thinking of, is the feel good factor he brings. Owls fans don’t know what that’s like. Irishmen all over the City etc,
If they don't want him to start with then he's got a lot of work to do to generate a feel good factor

Right man, right club, right time.
Absolutely. It's hard to explain how and why, but we were the perfect club for him and he was the perfect manager for us. What a f***ing season that was when he took us up
I don't think Sheff Wed is a big enough club with enough passion and drive to be better than they are. Let's be honest, when he came here he has 4 or 5 Irish lads who idolised him and gave him everything he wanted. It was a perfect storm for both him and us. Much like he was at Ipswich, I think Keane wouldn't feel the same fire and passion for the job

The amount of late goals we scored the following season was fantastic as well. For all the mistakes him and Quinn made in the transfer market when we got promoted, from January 2007-May 2008 we had the best team spirit we've seen at Sunderland since the peak of the Peter Reid era.

Well yeah, there’s no reason for them to be goong off it, other than he failed at Ipswich, but look what he and Quinn brought to the city. Class.

Sheff Wed are a big club. He was a success here, he lit up the town/ city, why wouldn’t he do it there ? I think they would be a great fit actually.

His arrival created more media interest than anything i’ve seen in 31 years of supporting Sunderland. The season he took us up was fantastic, you felt like he could become a top manager. Beating the mags at home was great after so many years but his ranting and raving obviously gets boring to the modern day player and his impact wears off. Part of me would love to think his experience since leaving us has made him a better manager and he’s learned from it. Not sure keane will ever do compromise though. I like him as a pundit mind. Find him entertaining. Lot of people rightly look back fondly on his time here but some of the games towards the end of his reign, bolton at home etc was horrendous

Keane (in my opinion) was a one club manager - it worked for him brilliantly here, but he's failed as a manager/assistant elsewhere. I don't see him being a success at a club like Sheff Wed.
Brilliant two seasons when he was here, pity about the start of the third season. Might not have been our best manager, but we always played with passion when he was in charge and a pleasure going to the match.

FWIW I know for a fact the Irish national team players preferred him to MON, in fact they didnt like MON much at all tbh. Got that from one of the players.

If his punditry is anything to go by I don't think he'd do that well.

I don't know what keane will do, but if I was him I'd take the sheff wed job in a heartbeat as long as their barnpot chairman doesn't interfere and he has money to spend.

Sheffield is a footballing city and Wednesday are a big club.

Even if he was getting paid big bucks by sky, li don't think he's the kind of guy driven by cash. And he needs to get back into a managerial job, I suspect nigel Pearson would be hot favourite mind
