Root and Buttler did it 3 years ago, as did Jennings.

Its interesting listening to the commentators there on about englands best players of spin, they always go through the hold back in my day names like keith fletcher. I bet they'd never dare say Jennings, when in reality he probably is considering his record.

Should be the spare batsman in the squad to be fair.

As Chunky rightly said. Jennings has only played 5 tests in Asia it’s not really much of a sample.
 
Disappointed to see Bairstow miss out on his third 50 in a row.

Top class from Root again.

Can’t understand the Buttler situation for the India tour, its madness to take him for one test only.
 
Root gone past Pietersen, only another 40-odd to go past Gower. Hopefully do it this innings and that will mean we're close to parity.

Heaven sitting here watching this on me Todd on a Sunday morning with everyone else in bed.
