Why does Dougie Jardine get banned? He is a good poster and, while controversial, he talked sense. Was it because he was always having a go at supporters in general iirc?

Yes and lots of other user names on this thread that have 'disappeared'. My contribution: Mackem Angels, might have been a moderator but it's a while ago.

Mackem Angels was a mod, that's been near on 15 years ago.

Greedminds, Lappy, Nude Monk, Fresno Mackem, loads of them not around any more.

There was one in the really early days, I think he was Baz Mac II or summit like that. Was fighting cancer, had some posts about his son and their ties to Sunderland that were astounding.

Yeah - my email associated with original username got deleted so account no longer worked. Mos people just referred to me as Beery any way so easy change

Laputian is sadly missed, The Wheatley Hill Billies is the funniest thing I have ever seen on here. He had a brilliant habit of winding MBH up too, MBH took it all seriously and couldn't see he was massively outgunned and being toyed with.
