Best meal you’ve had

Street stall off Khoasan Road, Bangkok.

Sitting on plastic chairs on the first night of our holiday outside a little stall vendor, Ordered loads of little dishes. King Prawn Ramen and a fresh papaya salad, wok fried greens etc whilst supping an ice cold Chang beer. Watching the Thais cook it effortlessly over a roaring flame and the cookery skills were incredible. Just remember sitting back and taking it all in, at total peace despite the absolute bedlam going on around you without even really noticing, It was tremendous.

Closer to home, went to 'The Man behind the curtain' in Leeds which is Michael O'Hares restaurant and that was pretty special too, polar opposites of each other.
The one that springs to mind was at Canary Wharf. Was simple sardines done in lime with a chopped salad.
Aye or that, Remember being in a little side street in Portugal and having some sardines that were incredible. Just sitting out in a quiet village with the warmth, a beer and some food. Nothing better.

There'll be nee better rib though.

And we can safely rule tacos in Edinburgh out!
What a weird place that was. Food was canny crap like.

off topic slightly but tried Fusion at the Ramside at the weekend. Not saying it’s as good as the highfield (most places aren’t), but well worth a try, portions are bigger but obvs maybe a quid more.

 I was not amused like.

They've already been and the reports unsurprisingly weren't great so I doubt it's on the cards.
