Best meal you’ve had

Did a canny bike ride to Kircudbright once when up on the West Coast, on my own and got fish and chips.

Was lush just sat on my own watching the boats and shit bringing fresh fish in
Polar Bites?
Depending on the time of year, the boats also bring in fresh scallops as well....lovely.
Sat many a time doing exactly the same as you describe.

Probably the Paris hotel in Vegas. Mrs wanted to have something to eat so we went in there. My face was tripping itself up at the price of everything on the menu. Then uncharacteristically, i thought bollocks with the cost, ordered a ridiculously priced cocktail and some chicken escalope thing in a buttery sauce. All the flavours were perfection. First time I had saw, eaten or even heard of an amuse bouche. Was seated on a window facing table almost opposite the fountains of bellagio overlooking the Vegas strip.

Really enjoyed House of Tides in Newcastle last year. Had monkfish, quail and lamb on the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious 🤤

Peter Lugers in Brooklyn - burger & chips to share as a starter, followed by their porterhouse med rare. I didn't pay... @Chalks did, always a bonus!

The Man behind the Curtain in Leeds, back end of last year - am pals with him, so been eating his food for donkeys, but this was next level, and watching the kids having their minds blown course after course and absolutely lap it up made it for me.

However, The Spicy curry pot noodle and hula hoop buttered white bread sandwich that pulled me back from certain hangover death one Saturday afternoon in 1992 takes some beating.
