Bumping into SMBers

I think most on here would get on in real life. The internet though creates arseholes with a need to be an arsehole. Just read the politics forum for proof of that.
This,

ive been an arsehole on there more times than I’d care to mention.
Whatever happened to Little Ned?!
There was also the bloke who went over to Dublin and shagged an eastern European bird
I’ve always wondered this. I think his other half was unhappy at some of his comments on here about an old school friend, and he ended up in a travelodge like Alan partridge and never posted on here again.

Anyone care to give me the greedy story?

I remember howling at the thread with his quotes and saw the guy Ritchie style video clip. I just assumed he was full of shit, not actually successfully globetrotting with cash to give away etc.

What did/does he do? And why would he leave here?

He seemed to have thick skin judging from some of the flack and piss taking I saw him receive.

Seem to remember he works/worked in marketing for the Motorsport industry.

Probably knows William Storey actually

Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
I thought you’d long gone from here.

Spent a very nice hour with a past poster on here who I used to argue with very intensely...a splendid chap.
Obviously I wont name this person as it will annoy all of his world famous mates such as Di Caprio and every formula 1 driver...
I think a lot of people who we may argue with online here we could get on well with in person. I used to have some very childish arguments with a lad about playstation vs xbox years ago, got to know him in person and a cracking lad who have shared many a game of cricket with, pint, text etc.

Couldn’t play computer games together though as you had a PlayStation and him an Xbox. 😂

Met loads off here at the games over the years and at the coast to coast way back before I had kids, flav probably being the funniest but the vast majority have all come across as decent people and I remain friends with a lot of the on FB.

Garydon probably the nicest bloke you can ever meet. His dad has just passed away from covid, gutted for him, used to chat to him at the games, big tough looking bloke he was but a lovely fella too.
Totally agree about Garydon.
He's a cracking lad.
I met him in Dublin some years ago, and we've been mates ever since.
He was with his mates, and I was over with my mates, and agreed to meet up for a few pints in Dublin.
A few turned into way too many, but it was a cracking night.

I was at a match, in the black cats bar with Garydon, his dad and his brother.
His dad was just like Garydon - easy going & great company.
He was just one of the lads, he enjoyed a chat, a laugh, and a beer or six.
A larger than life character, he'll be very much missed by all who knew him.

Thanks for that, sheds a bit light. Howling at him nutting a lamppost.

Only know a couple off here and they are friends anyway.
I know greedminds full name only because the stupid bugger posted a pic of his debit card on here.
