What kind of birds do you see in your garden?

Usual suspects here..all the tits, sparrows and finches etc.

I have Alder trees in the garden so get some less common finches like Brambling, Siskin and Redpoll that come to pick the seed heads in winter.

I've had a Corn Bunting, Yellowhammer (many pairs in the farmland 100m or so away) and also Goldcrests in spring.

Plenty of Yellowhammers here but rarely see a Brambling.
Few years ago in the garden with heavy snow we had all sorts of birds moving in searching for food. A Brambling was amongst a flock of Chaffinches which was nice to see and we had a few Reed Buntings appear.
Some lovely birds there Mate.

Cheers fella. We get a lot of tree sparrows but there are next to no House Sparrows in our part of the village. Up at the top where the older terraced houses are is replete with the little blighters. Love them. Such cheeky, gregarious little birds and its great to hear them all chattering on when you walk through the village :)

Home Bargains have 12.5kg bags of wild bird seed on for £4.79.

At that price it's not going to be brilliant and may well have some sprouty stuff in it, but that is as cheap as chips.

I've just put a load out as ground feed and I'll report back with my customers' reaction.

Robins
Blue Tits
Blackbirds (Mr and Mrs)
Starlings
Swallows
Sparrows
Pigeons

Female Sparrow Hawk took a dove off the phone wire and obliterated it in next door's garden.

All dependent on time of year obviously.
Hall Lee Bank Park is good for birds too. I've seen a Jay a couple of times in there which is nice.
