Winter 2020 cricket Aus, NZ, SA

The standard rules of Test batting go out the window in these games. It’s not just see off the new ball before lunch then cash in. It’s see off the new ball, then make sure you’ve got two “in” batsmen for when the lights come on, the two “in” batsmen for the second new ball and so on. There’s no good time to bat

There is, recent history suggests it’s ‘when England are bowling’.

India's last 4 wickets polished off for just 11 runs. Australia just trying to see off the new ball now. As a consequence, just 19 runs scored between both teams in the opening hour.

Shaw out 2nd ball.

Burns gets picked despite being horribly out of form, opens with Wade

I don't think Langer likes Khawaga are all, both openers out, he has made some runs and averages over 50 batting in Oz, strange.

India have to win this like or it'll be 4-0 IMO
Very interesting stat there

Starc averages 37 against batsman 1 to 7

Poor that mind
Would have been Warner and Pucovski to open but both injured.

The latter scored back to back double hundreds in the shield a month ago. Seems to be their pope, albeit an opener.

His figures look really promising but he seems to have a struggle with the short ball, been hit loads of times
Huge wicket there. Labuschagne out plum lbw. Again. 111 for 6.

Edit - make that 7. Cummins out foe a duck.
Gutted to see such a meek surrender

Aye I know but still

Than Pucovski won't make it as an international cricketer

something a matter with him with these concussions

not sure if he had so many that he is unwell, but never seen anything like it

not sure they should pick him

Yeah, it's a tricky one, God forbid anything happens to him they'll be held accountable.
