They definitely seem to have made an effort to make every playthrough different this year. I couldnt sell anyone at all. Can't give them away for free.

I've done alright with transfers like.

Hume - Lyon - £2.5m
Power - Rotherham - £250K
McGeady - Ross County - £150K
Grigg - Shrewsbury - £150K
Maguire - Austin FC - £100K
Wyke - Kilmarnock - £100K
McLaughlin - Ross County - £60K
Graham - Charlton - Free
Matthews - Coventry - Loan
Neil - Shrewsbury - Loan

A lot of those were doing okay in the team before I got rid of them, so wonder if giving players games gets them moves easier.

Far too easy this year. In 4 years I've won the Premier League with Sunderland. I think I'll see how I get on in the Champions League in my 5th season before deciding to start a new challenge

Can't seem to get any consistency at all. 14th in the championship after 13 games, but league one was a struggle with inconsistency also and won the league by 1 point.

Think I only got promoted and I'm 14th as Cummings scores with pretty much every chance.

Tried 442, 41221, 4231 with tika taka, gengen, possession etc and goes well for 1-2 games then to complete shite

Finished 1st season. Absolutely pissed it.

P46, W39, D5, L2

Standout players...

Cummings - 58 Goals (48 in league), 10 assists.

Diamond - 24 goals, 13 assists in league.

Sanderson - 15 assists in league.

Bähre - 30 assists in league.

Burge - 32 cleansheets in league.

Been given £6.6m in the Championship.

Build up play through the middle seems better, crosses aren’t as overpowered. I’m still seeing the sam issues with long punts being impossible to defend but others aren’t.

I’ve signed two new centre backs as a last throw of the dice and nowts changed for me. High line / low line, standard width / narrow width, tight marking / regular marking just about every game punt straight down the middle and the centre forward runs between the centre backs and coolly slots home or I concede from a corner or free kick. Goals are drying up now as well. Still about 15 points clear so not worried just not enjoying it. I can almost hear the smb slating me

I've installed/uninstalled FM19 numerous times. But because I love football I keep going back but my god! The AI in these games is a total gunt if it doesn't like you. In every single aspect of the game. I see the AI doing things against me that i've never seen my players do.

At the time of my last sacking. It was 2033 and we were 10th in the EPL with a fantastic squad of players (none over 30) 20/21yrs old in the center of the park fantastic stats...and up front..and at CB, I mean everywhere but we still somehow lost at home to BURTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've signed loads of kids with good potential for my Premier league season. I'm hoping I can stay up while bring some of these through into the first team then kick on next season but we will see what happens

Hume to Lyon can just imagine him whipping in balls for Dembele and Depay.

Sign a keeper imo. Burge & Matthews are dodgy.

Kovar from Man U was solid for me in the beginning of the championship campaign & Iliev from Arsenal was better than Burge & Matthews during league one.

This is good advice! I was conceding loads no matter what I did with the back line height, pressing, marking, roles etc. Looked at the analysis and I'd conceded 8th most in the league but had fewer shots faced than any other team. I play Patterson now and I've stopped conceding. Can only think there's some stat he's higher in, despite being far worse overall, thats made the difference.

Signed Tarique Fosu, Jack Whatmough, Jimmy Dunne and Perry Ng in January to hopefully develop enough to fill the squad in the championship instead of having to renew the contracts of maguire, Xhemajli, Flanagan and McLaughlin.

Dan Sturridge and Adam Idah both out injured so have done what I was trying to avoid doing and signed the cheat code of Jason Cummings that people keep mentioning. 5 games no goals and a litany of missed one on ones and pens

Signed a few decent players on loan for my 2nd season. Hoping to try and get promoted back to the Premier League at the 1st attempt.

Got Troy Parrott, Ethan Ampadu, and Harvey Elliott in on loan. Cummings keeping Parrott out the team so far though.

Not been taken over yet. Had two failed attempts though. One by Natalie Christopher, and one by someone called Southall or something.

It’s not gone through like. Had one by the barrow chairman that fell through the next day early in the season but this ones dragging. They’ve absolutely nailed Stewart Donald this year

I had the barrow guy try to takeover and failed also. I got taken over after several attempts in the second season by a Swedish Tycoon. To be fair he doesn't seem to be putting ridiculous cash in and is insisting that I develop my own players and play them in the first team and investing heavily in youth recruitment and academy. Pretty decent to be fair. The money he has put in has allowed me to bring in some decent loans.

Think I mentioned it earlier but this years seems to be very easy. I've won the premier in my first season with Sunderland and just won my first champions League group match 7 nil.

Lost my previous SAFC save so started again.

played 5 won 5 in the league. Got Sagna right back, Ben Wilmot and Mitchell from Palace on loan.

Andre Green and Anthony Gordon with McGeady on the wings then Stockley from Preston on loan.

Trying to be solid defensively with a lot of pace. Binned off Grigg and Graham they are useless.
