Parkinson Gone

Good riddance. I had time for him until he clearly just would not give a chance to one or two who we have who might add a bit of pace or energy or a bit of quality and develop them. With that in mind results had to improve to stomach the football (which wasn't always as bad as is made out) and it didn't. I almost felt a few weeks back picking the same shit, the refusal to give chances to Embleton, Diamond, Neil, the acceptance of draws at Fleetwood and Doncaster was him realising he wasn't going to achieve anything and wanting a way out.

Think his signings were mixed, which is understandable given the lack of a transfer budget, but his refusal to take advantage of the youth was the death knell for him - realistically it's the only way and possibly the easiest way to progress at the moment. He has no place at a football club with any kind of ambitions who expect to do well week in week out.

yes hit and miss in the market. should have (again) brought lads ONLY to augment our own.

scared shitless of using what we have, absolutely INEXCUSABLE signing graham, shocking in fact.

The board would like to place on record, that the f***ing abysmal dogshit football was unacceptable, and we'll be moving heaven and earth to bring in another uninspiring, cheap as chips manager, asap.

Wonder if they think they’ll have a sporting director and possibly a manager at least lined up for Tuesday or whether they’re prepared to wait until after then. Given that he took training today before being sacked I’m going to guess they’ll be announcing both pretty quickly.

Tuesday might be a day or two early. Wouldn't be overly surprised if it all happens by next weekend though.
