Motogp 2019

One hand on the title for Mir now. Really pleased that he's won a race, particularly having had one robbed from him in the second Austria race

Think all he needs is a podium from the final 2 races

Two horse race now, with Mir odds-on.

Amazing how Yamaha and Ducati (and Honda, really) have messed this up after the absence of Marquez. An open goal, and they've all put it out for a throw-in... ;)

Know it's been said ad-nauseum on the commentary for weeks but Dovi and Vinales will be kicking themselves for the rest of their lives. Will be interesting to see how Quartararo responds as well, don't think there's any doubt that the pressure of the title fight has got to him this year but hopefully he will learn from it and come back better in 2021.

Hopefully Valencia goes the journey at some point in the very near future. A track that rarely makes for exciting racing and is loathed by pretty much loathed by everyone in the paddock as well as the fans.

A few bits of fairly big news since Sunday:
  • As expected, the CAS have increased Iannone's doping ban to 4 years thereby effectively ending his career
  • Dovi confirms that he'll be taking a years sabbatical in 2021
  • Crutchlow likely to become Yamaha's test rider
  • Rossi had tested positive for COVID again on Tuesday, but has since returned 2 negative tests and will be allowed to race this weekend
  • Rumours that Marquez needs a third operation on his arm and will miss the start of the 2021 season

I saw Marquez had called it a draw for this season but hadn`t heard about another op. Shame about Cal, he should be out there racing. He`s been out of form since his off a few weeks ago but still a good fast rider and points bagger for a team rather than stuck in test pilot mode. Bit stupid of AI mind a career chucked away for a bit of sniff

Saw the stories about Iannone and Marquez - looks like Iannone's been a very silly boy and as you say his career is finished. And have Honda been keeping quiet about the seriousness of Marquez's injury? Curse that stuck window...

Feel a bit for Cal - his arm operation earlier in the season seemed to have gone pretty badly, and the Honda's obviously not the easiest bike to ride.

I see that Enea Bastianini and Luca Marini are moving up to MotoGP next year on Avintia Ducatis. Maybe a Team VR46 in MotoGP in 2022...?
Crutchlow confirmed as Yamaha test rider:

Just 11 points between Arenas, Ogura and Arbelino in the Moto3 title race heading into next weekend. Moto3 at Portimao will be carnage!

You're not wrong there like... ;)

Well done Mir and Suzuki. 🍾

Bagnaia is going to need to get off to a flyer next season. Can't imagine the senior Ducati management being particularly understanding if he carries on 2021 the way he's been since Misano.

Cracking races in all 3 classes today. Not sure how often that's happened at Valencia!

This Moto3 race is seriously tense mind! Arenas looked really comfortable at one point but slipping down the pack and could lose this title with 4 laps to go

Nice touch from Torino:

Rumours circulating that MM needs a third op.

Confirmed:
