Is Ronnie O'Sullivan making a good point?

People don’t like him.
They will never give him the credit he deserves because of his political views

I haven't the first idea what his political views are tbh. I think he just rubs people up the wrong way as he comes across as having a bit of a spoilt child attitude towards things

Not sure why it matters. A striker scoring the winning goal for Sunderland could have a spoilt attitude and I wouldn’t care, he’s getting paid to score goals for his club.

I find his stance strange and hypocritical. I do understand his passion and having his upbringing I might have the same one ( if that’s the right thing to call it) but why come the country that he bears such strong feelings against? I would personally stay well clear.
Ok, fair enough. But what’s that got to do with Lewis Hamilton, what has he done that’s comparable for you to bring McLean into it?

The tread mentioned a political opinion that he’s shared and I think it was you mentioned that a footballer scoring for us having opinions.
I can’t think of a player other than McLean ever voicing a political opinion since Gary Owers joining the movement for north east independence

Not me, guvnor. My response was to someone who said they didn’t like his attitude.
