Basically I was 8 -18 in the 80’’s crammed a whole lot into that decade starting with toys and Atari’s to graft, pubs and shagging. I honestly loved every minute of it. It seemed to last forever, much longer than the last 30 which frankly has f***ing pissed over

Once shared a massive whisky bottle, the type that normally got used for saving coppers, filled with that sherry you could get from the chemist. Could taste it for a week. Similarly necked a bottle of Malibu, put me right off Bountys.Castaways. Mix it with summat else and have a blastaway. Castaway was not bad tbf, quite moreish.

I also hold fond memories of tv shows such as Button Moon, Puddle Lane and a cartoon series with flight of the Phoenix? Cities of Gold it may have been.

I’d like to have been maybe 8-10 years older for music as I’m a massive fan of bands that were finished by the time I was old enough to go to gigs, but for everything else, the 80’s was perfect. Just the right balance of old school fun and new tech. Plus crowtree was mint, the disco swim in thing on a Friday and the ice rink were class man.I'm same age and the music was class too, have always loved the music from that era.
Saw the Damned in 79, seeing them again next year, hopefully.I’d like to have been maybe 8-10 years older for music as I’m a massive fan of bands that were finished by the time I was old enough to go to gigs, but for everything else, the 80’s was perfect. I cant remember the 80s other than bad memories. The 90s were utterly amazing.Anyone remember the great excitement of a 3D cowboy film coming on ITV on a Sunday afternoon? Everyone sat around with the cardboard glasses on.
