My mam used to buy those raspberry ripple frozen mousse things with the cardboard tops and the concave bottoms that robbed you of a fair bit of that chemical foam.

I was 13 when the 80's started and 23 by the end. Probably the best 10 years of my life. I was listening to Jam at the start and overdosing on Dandelion and Burdock. By the end I was dropping E's and spending most weekends off me nut listening to Acid House and Madchester stuff. In between I'd popped me cherry and chased any young female with a pulse. I'd also discovered some great music (The Smiths, New Order, Prince, FGTH).

Basically I was 8 -18 in the 80’’s crammed a whole lot into that decade starting with toys and Atari’s to graft, pubs and shagging. I honestly loved every minute of it. It seemed to last forever, much longer than the last 30 which frankly has f***ing pissed over

I'm same age and the music was class too, have always loved the music from that era.
