Is Ronnie O'Sullivan making a good point?

Nikki Lauda moved heaven and earth to get him to Mercedes.

He knew what an outstanding talent he was.

Put all the drivers in a Haas or Williams and he'd still win.

He's that good.

As a nation we need to wake up, he's top 5 all time greatest driver's for me and possibly top 3 greatest UK sports men of all time.
I think you need to live here to claim that mind.
I know nowt about cars mind

Spot on. Hamilton is a good driver in an excellent car. Schumacher was an excellent driver in a good car.

Both are excellent drivers (were in Schumis case sadly) Schumacher was always the number one driver and team orders meant his teammate had to give up his position if he was ahead. In his last three titles wins Schumacher had by far the best car. Ferrari were miles ahead of everyone else. Anyway the stats will show Hamilton as the Goat but in my eyes I think Senna then Prost were the greatest.

I can't think of a sport that has fewer variables than snooker. If you have technique as good as Ronnie's the ability to win or lose is all between his ears. In motor racing you can still come a cropper even in the fastest car as you are operating in a much more varied environment.

If anyone could win in that car why do his team pay him millions to drive for them? Presumably they could hire a test driver from the worst team and pay them peanuts. But they don't so Ronnie's opinion is clearly bollocks, as great as he is in his own game.
Darts. The other player doesn't change the game other than pressure.

Hamilton is Senna, Prost & Schumacher.

He used to rely entirely on his considerable pace advantage as he had the same raw talent as Senna. He now usually puts himself in front and controls the race

He also now thinks his way through the race like Prost did, including misleading tyre related messages and the occasional dummy to throw the oppo. The big Prost factor is his patience and being prepared to settle for 18 or 15 points

He's dominated the last 4 seasons in a similar manner to Schumacher is his pomp (much more fairly IMHO).

Just look at the last race. He knew the Mercedes wasn't as quick on that track in those conditions, so he waited. The tyres eventually came to him just as all around were finding trouble. It was genius what he did there.

Pure genius from a master of his craft

The Rocket is perhaps the most talented person in his field compared to any other fields.

Bang on and that last race perfectly sums up how he has matured into the best driver that I've ever seen.

Pace, control, maturity and an unbelievably cool head on his shoulders - sublime.

The world would be no worse place without either of them and their sports.

Hamilton and O'Sullivan are both lucky bastards who have no right to complain about anything given the current state of the world.

If Hamilton is so shit then why is Bottas almost 100 points behind him in the same car?

People love to put down those who are excellent at what they do in this country. It’s embarrassing.

"But he doesn't pay tax here!"

Neither did Button, Damon Hill or Coulthard. Or Schumacher I expect since he also lived in Monaco.

Why is Hamilton treated differently 🤔
