Agree with you on this, think there are still some big issues to be cleared up.
1/ What happens to the £20.5m our present owners owe back into the club.
2/ Are FPP still to be involved, if not what happens with there €12m loan to the club.
3/ what is new guy paying for his reported 60% shareholding.
All very important to know imo.
More importantly whay are you switching between pounds and euros?

1/ They don't owe anything it was written off. They claimed they would put it back in on sale but no idea how them retaining a percentage impacts that.
2/ FPP didn't loan anything to the club they loaned it to Madrox up to them to sort it out.
3/ No idea and don't really care.

Get in, he will be handing his notice in

Speaking on Friday, Parkinson said: “If a takeover does go through, I’ll look forward to meeting the new owners and telling them my thoughts on what I think we need to go forward.”
Hopefully they’ll tell him we need a new manager.

Thanks Charlie 👍

Bit of a concern they are keeping Rodwell, I thought he was the current owners mate.
If they want to keep him it doesn’t bode well. Didn’t they see him on tv saying it was a good idea to sell the future of the club for a half eaten curly wurly and an opened tin of Fanta.

Roswell is a disaster with his handling of things. I suppose it depends how much that has been at the behest of Donald and methven
if this new mob have 60% of the shares in the club they should be telling those two to fuck off.

Parky said that he looked forward to meeting the new owners and telling them his thoughts on what was needed in order to move forward. I think that we could all agree what needs to be number one on the list Parky lad.:lol:

"Well lads, welcome to SAFC.
No doubt you're eager to move the club forward and ensure we have an organisation, infrastructure and team capable of promotion.
I've analysed all parts of the club and I can tell you from my extensive experience in management your first task should be to hand me my P45".

So new man comes in with 60% of the shares and it isn't a takeover.
After reading through this thread and some others regarding this it surprises me that some folk seem to be having trouble with this concept. Although Laurel and hardy still have shares in the club they are now in a minority and on the face of it will have no further say in how the club is run. Unless something has been written into the deal and I honestly don’t believe donut and tuna trunks are smart enough to outthink a family that have been very successful for almost as long as SAFC have been in existence.

I think the point is that regardless of share make up Sartori is Donald and Methven's man and Kryil is Sartori's. People are acting as if Sartori and Louis-Dreyfus are an opposing party whereas its actually all the same cabal, but with a new investor. Whether or not the new fella is a passive investor who is willing to trust Sartori et al with his money or someone who's going to clear the decks and be his own man remains to be seen but theres absolutely no evidence to suggest either way. The only thing we have to go off is that Sartori was brought in by Donald and Sartori brought in Louis-Dreyfus so you can surely understand the concern.

That's the bit that doesn't seem to make sense, he is being touted as the leader of the consortium but that his stake will remain unchanged which seems a bit strange.
Niall Quinn was the leader of the Drumaville Consortium and I doubt he was the majority shareholder.

I don't think he was a shareholder at all.
Good point, but then Quinn was a billionaire (or close to it), most reports seem to be more that Donald & Methven will have 20% so it's possible Sartori has picked up a few more as well, who knows.

Of course I can. Although we don’t know with any degree of certainty who is whose man. Only that the new people have the majority share holding and thus they can run the club in any way they choose should they wish to do so. As you say how this pans out remains to be seen. My view is they have to be smart enough not to trust either Donald or Methven to have any further involvement with the club or were fucked.

He did like. He took in about 900m of Premier League cash. It was his choice how it was spent. He racked losses up as debt. Then took a loan with SBC to cover some of that debt at a cost to the club of around 8m per year.

Poor bugger battling away. If only he was in charge and could run us sustainably eh? Keane got us promoted to the Premier League on about a 5m spend and kept us up on less than we got in tv money the following year. To blame Keane is laughable.

He spent about double that if not more which was a massive spend back then.

Oh yes the ol' "let's take 20 million out of the club using the PP money. Let's call it a loan to Madrox. Let's then write off that loan, so that there's no legal obligation to do so"
