The Mandalorian.

I quite liked this week’s episode, good to see they are bringing characters the animated shows Clone Wars & Rebels. We may get to see the “live” version of Ahsoka Tano in the coming weeks.

The one character I would be interested to see they introduce is Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Ahsoka is already confirmed, and they are in the planning stages of her own spin-off show.

They'll need to bring back Ezra if Thrawn was to reappear.

I have only experienced Thrawn from the novels I have been listening to. I am still making my way through Star Wars Rebels, half-way through series 2 at the moment. I guess from your comment Thrawn makes an appearance in the series at some point. I know Ahsoka is one of the Jedi voices that are heard calling out Rey's name at the end of The Rise Of Skywalker.

Katee Sackhoff definitely filled out a Mando outfit quite well.... very curvy indeed.

Didi notice that the episode was directed by Bruce Dallas Howard

I only found out recently that they retconned Rex into canon. by suggesting that he made appearance as one of the rebel troops on Endor in ROTJ

yeah there’s been no talk of Rex been in it with all the focus on temeura Morrison coming back to play boba fett but I think it will be opportunity missed if they don’t have him with Ashoka, proper fan service/nice surprise

She did episode 4 in season 1 too, the one where they defend the village against raiders with an ATST, both great. Ron Howard commented that her experience of freedom to direct was entirely different to his.

I can't see Luke being in it at all. He might be referenced by Ahsoka, but any direct contact between Luke and Mando would result is endless questions as to why he wasn't part of the last 3 movies.

It's going to be interesting how they bring the High Republic storylines to the TV and big screen.
