So, between Sartori and Kyril, as well being billionaires in their own right will have direct family links to the Louis-Dreyfus Group (soon to be 45% owned by an Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund). Kyril’s stepfather is vice chairman of Blackrock, the largest Asset Management company in the world (over $7 trillion on their books), he’s also an ex-head of the Swiss Central Bank. Juan’s FIL is an oligarch worth over $6 billion.

I think we be might okay for keeping the lifts operational under the new regime.

Question for @Grumpy Old Man. What would prevent the new major shareholder from buying out CM and SD soon after the takeover was complete?

I was wondering this as well. If the 60-20-15-5% numbers are correct I thought you could buy out all the shares in a company once you had 79% control and the other 21% could do naff all about it.

Nothing, if the offer was to their liking.

Could they even do anything about it even if it wasn't as long as they were bought for market value?

My knowledge is minimal to say the least bit I'm sure there is a number whereby it can trigger you being able to buy out everyone else. Short did it to our fans who had bought shares a few years ago.

We're in league one, so whether or not they ultimately make it in the PL is largely irrelevant in a debate about whether we should have flogged them. We generally seemed to get small sums for these lads, and then no doubt spent that and more on plodders like Dobson, or on wages for Lafferty or Graham. If owners had a long term vision they'd look at risk vs reward and likely realise that they'd be better off keeping these kids, trying to give them a path to the first team and hoping they'd at least be able to offer us something in this god awful league. Do that and they'd be worth a lot more than we got for them, even if they end up not making it at the top level, on top of having contributed whilst here.

Of course the owners didn't do this because they never intended staying here, as we know from them trying to sell since they walked through the door. They looked at a small sum now vs a potential larger sum when they wouldn't be here to benefit from it, so they took what they could get. Of all the things they've done wrong, the mismanagement of the academy is right up there with the worst of it regardless of whether these lads are PL regulars in the future or not.
Exactly. For me, by far the worst thing about the fuckwits who run the club is how short sighted they are. In trying to make a quick buck, they failed to recognise that we were a Premier League club a very short time before they took over and still had Premier League infrastructure, and by trying to hold that together as much as possible while playing a slightly longer game than one season, they stood to make far, far, far more money than they ever would by running us like a non-league entity. The fact they had the nerve to question the business acumen of the people from this area was a complete affront. Particularly when Donald has roughly the same level of intelligence as a roll of carpet.

My point is people getting carried away that we have sold these great youngsters when they might not even make it to the top. For every kid that makes it and becomes a star at a big club there are dozens who get released and drift down the leagues.
Whether they make it or not is irrelevant, they've cashed in on kids because they had no intention of being here to see if they developed into top players or not.

Clubs are ordered to not spend more than the income that they generate, and that they must balance their books over the course of three years.

The days of just pumping unlimited cash in are gone.

Are Sartori and Kyril billionaires in their own right?
The families definitely have money.

And that's before Billy Bullshit chips in with his one can of pop.

It's a good thing. Could be a brilliant thing.

Some have reservations but it's a lot better news than the day before yesterday.

I don't like those two having anything to do with the club but if they just bit parts who stay away from the club as in not doing podcasts or any media interviews then fine. In irks me they could make profits but it's still a lot better news .

Sartori was quiet but what was he to do. He didn't own club he was just the money man that got the other two charlatans to pass the proper owners test.

I do believe , as the papers state, he is the link to this kid and his family coming in and taking control so well done Juan. When you look at old videos of him enjoying himself at the stadium or down Trafalgar you can literally sense he was loving it so that will do for me.

So it's brilliant if reports are to be believed ,and if someone had offered me that a few days ago , then I would have snatched their hands off.

Don't be miserable that a mega rich youngun and a diplomatic figure who clearly is affected by the club want to run it.

Juan will know the other two have failed and alienated fans with their child kidnap and thick northerners bullshit and positive he and the kid will reconnect. They are bright people remember.

FTM.

Seems strange, from what I can see they sold the club when he was 18. How involved could he have been really, plus they finished 13th in 2015/16 the year before they sold, which is pretty terrible for them.

Aye mate but he was “at Marseille” so the usual suspects are wetting their knickers ;)
I messaged you and a couple of others on here with the info that I had and could share to a point without risking it to a point that would jeopardise the deal. Think @Shirley Shammel and @Batmansafc were a few. @The Ghost of Arca too over the way I think.

Was doing the same behind the scenes over the road too.

Also, not being funny like but it got to a point where it was simply not worth it on the main board due to trolls and WUMs. There were also a couple of messages I got from others on this board that was informative too. So year, people to get to hear things.

Answered this in my last post.

This is correct. Info was absolutely spot on as well.

you had the same confidence in current owners, Parky and Graham. That went well

I’ve got that thundercunt Summerbee on ignore. You’re spot on about Parkinson and Graham. He will be delighted that his prediction of AOB becoming a legend is also bang on the money as well.
His defence of them regarding the fire sale at the academy is scandalous if he is actually Sloanes and promoted me putting him on ignore.

From past experience, I wouldn't do that...I'd Tend to chip away at them Its all about what % the two Chancer in Chiefs do actually hold % wise. Sartori is the key now with his 20%. If this new lad buys him out, then he will be able to have full control. I don't see that happening any time soon as I think although Sartori in rarely to be seen he has seen and knows the passion of the fans and what could be achieved in the longer term. The other two just see the money and kudos.

Excellent point, though I had the figure of 75% in my head. That could definitely be wrong though. If they can and don't, that would beg the question why? Awaiting GOMs answer.
