@prehab26 Aside from the footballing side of things, is there plans to sort the off field stuff.. like tarting up the stadium, fixing the sound system, changing the horrific package we got for drinks/food in the concourse.. the whole fan day experience.. while fans cant get in, this would be the perfect time to get the decorators in etc ready for when we are allowed back.

Wasn’t his family behind the Marseille stadium renovations? I know it was carried out in 2014 when they still owned the club.

You're inferring stuff that you couldn't possibly know. If his advisors are so great, why is he leaving Donald and Methven with 20% of the club? Also, his dad was successful and he inherited money. I'm not saying he can't do well but there's no indication that the "successful family" has any relevance at all.

He is very young, but he has been involved in football all his life, and has more top-level footballing experience than Short or Donald had. It seems pretty clear from his social media pages that he's well connected, at least in France.

It's not great that it's not a full takeover, but Donald has been angling for that from day one. With that, I think we need to wait and see what the deal looks like. I was expecting a local based takeover, and this does feel like a huge risk, but I just want us to show some ambition. There's no doubt this is ambitious.

So can we now conclude that Sartori got his cheap shareholding on the basis that he would broker this kind of a deal because he rubs shoulders with biliionarios?

I've somehow managed to miss todays developments until now.

Im intrigued but struggling to get excited over this. A 22 year old rich kid doesn't fill me with confidence as someone who can run a football club and we know the current bunch can't do it.

This kid and Sartori could have easily afforded to buy out Donald and Methven, but the fact that they haven't, suggests they're still going to be influential. I can live with Donald being a minority shareholder but Methven coming back to be an active part in the club is a red line for me.
I’m with you on this from what I’ve read so far. Missed the news as it came in yesterday but looking at some details this morning, this doesn’t look like the change we were hoping for.
