We've been bought off a billionaire and you'd never know it looking at this forum.
Have we not learnt from last year?I will wait until we see the new owners in the flesh following efl approval and even then i will save the wankathon until we see the management team they deploy and the investment they make in our great club........... Many on here were very happy with SD and that vile twat methvens magic beans last time around and hounded anybody who dared to suggest they were opportunists without a pot to piss in.
I want them out of our great club and we cannot let the buggers of the hook just because they may have found decent buyers...They will always be remembered as a stain on our club and i dont want them hanging around like a bad smell and charlie pontificating in the media of what a great job they have done ...........
I really hope that ths is a the buyout this great club deserves and not just a plaything for a 22 year old billionaire and i hope we eventually find out why last years FPP takeover failed as because if we do i think Donald and co will not be able to show their face at the SOL again.

Wonder what PP thoughts are? A couple of bad results away from the sack? They (new owners) must be aware of the lack of support for PP from the fans....

Reading his bio he transformed Marseille after their match fixing scandal got them to a UEFA cup final twice

I think but lost both if he got us to one he'd be treated like a god here

Look at some of the names associated with those team too. I'm sure Messrs. Dugarry, Gallas, Barthez, Drogba and Pires wouldn't mind picking up the phone and helping their old Chairman's son with a few tips or player recommendations. I do think it's remarkably brave to get involved in a club like this at his age, but you can be assured he'll be very well advised and supported.

We hope so but this is Sunderland don't forget we've already had one billionaire owner failed here

Who inherited the club in League One, stopped the rot and has passed on their stewardship of the club to some very wealthy and smart people who will take us forward. Time will be kind to them, even if some can't see it now.

It wont, it is the worst period in our history, their blinkered quick buck leadership has kept us in L1 for 2 more seasons than we should kf been maybe even 3 depending how this one pans out. Biggest budget, best manager, piss game party over, blah blah blah, they started the biggest piss game party ever with their attitude towards the fans.

Time will be kind, your on the wind up mate.

It just still passes me off that Donald and Charlie are going to be around and make money from others success.
Any other company that has shown a 3 year decline in a leadership would they not normally have a vote of no confidence once a take over has happened?
Why can they not give him another few grand and drive him out of town. Donald offers nothing

It's just my opinion which can only be proven or disproven in time. We can disagree on that but I think we can agree that we both hope this is a momentous day in our history. Hopefully it brings a little more unity and positivity.

A lot has been made of him being 22.

This isn't some 22 year old from some part of sunderland who gets hammered every weekend. He's a member of of a very successful family with a lot of wealth at their fingertips
As such, he'll have all sorts of advisors around him.

You're inferring stuff that you couldn't possibly know. If his advisors are so great, why is he leaving Donald and Methven with 20% of the club? Also, his dad was successful and he inherited money. I'm not saying he can't do well but there's no indication that the "successful family" has any relevance at all.
