This ridiculous wage cap is going to be a pain to negotiate, particularly if we do bring in a new manager. Great news for the future but I can't see much changing in the short term

Who inherited the club in League One, stopped the rot and has passed on their stewardship of the club to some very wealthy and smart people who will take us forward. Time will be kind to them, even if some can't see it now.

At 3pm on Saturday afternoon, 90 minutes matters, not the latest incoming/outgoings spreadsheet. When it comes to what matters, they failed. Time should not and I’m pretty sure as long as most people are breathing, will not be kind to them. They failed, and in the steaming pile of shite that is our recent history, their time here is just a fresh turd at the top of the pile.

Here, Here.🤗🤗

A 22yr old shareholder haha Is this a first in football? IIRC Sartori paid 3m for 20% of the shares, bargain but..our value (as a club) plummeted. If those young kids we lost to the 'big boys' are in the 1st team at their respective clubs in say...three years. it will feel sickening.

How long before we bring through some more 15/16yr olds to the 1st team? Could be another 10 years.
Off the top of my head. Only 3 or 4 youngsters have gone on to make it in the 1st team in recent years, since the two Jordans and that's Hume, Honeyman and Gooch...delighted for them but i'm worried they will get sold in January if we're not in the top 2 and playing well.

Surely if this new owner is cashed up the need to sell anyone in January would disappear and be at, as it should, the mangers discretion ( and not SD's ).

If they're not will it have been a good decision? Don't get me wrong, i think that they've fucked up the academy but how many players have we kept in the academy for years who have never made it?
