What exactly? Business people buying a business and wanting to make as much money as possible?
In its purest form, I have no issue with that. To do that normally you have to restructure a business and place it in a growth (or position to grow) position.
What we witnessed wasn’t that, quite the opposite with the hope that an immediate bounce back would occur. When that didn’t you get where we are, losing to Mansfield in the Cup and in League 1 for the third season in a row.

It’s certainly noticeable in their podcasts too.
An element of scepticism is understandable, particularly since they were obviously ‘used’ by SD and co. to enthuse the fans about FPP.
Now that this deal has been widely reported you’d hope they can see the positives.
It was RR that were used and ALS not sure WMS ever were.

You just keep looking behind you constantly, you need to start looking forward and thinking this just may be the beginning of something good

And we now will have owners that have money that SD could only dream of in his wet dreams.
So a quick flip if we go up is a bit pointless for them.

Do we actually know how much money this lad has? His family are rich and it said something about a trust of £2bn but not sure what he has or has access to at the moment.

Nothing more would please me to see the football club with a proper structure with a clear synergy with the youth teams and first team, supplemented with key purchases which enhance the club in the immediate term whilst complimenting the structure.

If that happens I am all for it. To achieve that with those two benefitting, sticks in my throat a little.

Is this good news or bad news? I honestly have no idea

IF/WHEN it goes through my gut feeling ( which I trust implicitly) says it's fantastic news.

Family were involved for 20 years at Marseille = they aren't flippers.
Rybolovlev been involved at Monaco = he knows the score.
Sartori = knows the craic here.
It's not a 22 year old kid - he is probably about 35 in his head given his upbringing.
Mother runs the main company - she's not a daft lass.

Fingers and everything else crossed.
