When you look at what Donald and Methvan have done to the club and look at what they have said about our fans it’s perfectly reasonable for fans to be disappointed they remain here in any capacity whatsoever whilst still being able to look forward to new majority ownership and what they could potentially achieve. I’m happy there’s a potential new majority shareholder or shareholders but it doesn’t change the fact I want Donald and Methvan confined to history. The darkest part of the clubs entire history in fact. They’ll forever be a stain on the club and as long as they remain here their smell will still linger irrespective of how little they own or how much influence they ultimately have. The irony is that they are now essentially parasitic. Not long after claiming that about fans.

Much will depend on who is installed to run the show. Get real - Sartori and Louis-Dreyfus aren't about to turn up at BCH every day. Their first step should be to appoint someone like Nicola Cortese as CEO to run the show for them, someone with experience of building a club through the promotions, preferably assisted by an able DoF.
We've already got Big Jimmy Rodders 😄

They're gonna have no input whatsoever and they have kept a stake so they can eventually make alot of money from it. This 22 year old is not going to be the one making the decisions if Prehab and Co are correct, its gonna be the big football people that are coming in

Thanks for the clarification. It matters not a hoot what I think of course but it would be nice if this was even just the beginnings of a slight improvement. You’ll forgive me, I hope, for not having many optimistic bones left in my body tho-but.

Pluses
> There's real money in that family. And a history of some success in football
> We needed a change. A change, any change..... but most of all a change in leadership and strategy. That will hopefully now come.
> The young man will (also hopefully) have that arrogance what makes him impatient to put his blueprint on affairs and get us moving up the leagues. He'll have dealt already with men (and women) of means, direction, ambition and intent... hopefully he won't suffer fools gladly when it comes to business.

Minuses
> We're still restricted by the wage cap, a dour manager and an unremarkable playing squad. At 3pm tomorrow it's still Jurassic Parkinson and his tedious tactics.
> We've still got Donald and Methven involved. That's not a clean break and I'm worried that their caution, naivety and double-talk will still hold the club back.
> It looks for all the world that we're just a rich kids plaything. Sunderland means nowt to him - nowt at all. When he gets bored, he cuts his losses and moves on. I know there's the chance we'll get under his skin as had happened before but if Daddy slaps him hard and focuses his attentions elsewhere we could easily be the toy that gets put in the back of the shed and forgotten about until it rusts and get's hoyed out with the knackered lawnmower and grass cuttings.

We'll be a bit wiser on matters come May 2021.
