Well played Mansfield. Shame in a way for Mansfield fans not being there to enjoy their moment. Well done Nigel. Taught us a lesson today, a lesson we seem to have been given far too often by too many. It’s sickening to see what this club has become
We will sink further unless we appoint a better manager, which won't happen until we are taken over, which doesn't look likely at the moment.

You were defending that team before kick off weren't you? Still think it was the right selection?

No mate I wasn't.. I was more of the thinking that the Fringe players were always going to start ahead of the under 23s. Honestly don't know where people have got the idea I was buzzing with the team selection from like.

9 times out of 10, in Cup compeitions, teams will field their fringe players, and the young lads will get minutes from the bench.

But no, to answer your question, I wasn't defending the team selection.

That was pitiful, no positives from that at all. Pointless reserve trophy match against Fleetwood next, then international break. So we can't even move on from this steaming turd of a performance until end of November.

Wyke 242 games 73 goals, mostly league two

Graham 546 games 153 goals, mostly championship and premier league

Both around one in 3.5. One did it in the top two tiers, the other one in the bottom two tiers of the EFL.

f***ing hell man let it go, they are both f***ing terrible. It's far easier to make out they are shite than it is to make out they aren't. Wyke has actually scored this season up to now but it's unlikely he'll keep it up and his replacements are all f***ing dire

FA Cup Round 1
KO: 3pm
Venue: Stadium of Light
Weather: Clear, sunny and warm for the time of year

We've only played Mansfield five times in the history of both clubs in all competitions. In Div 2 in 77/78 we won 1-0 at Roker and 2-1 and their place. In the 87/88 Div 3 season, we won 4-1 at home and 4-0 away. We knocked them out of the league cup round 2 in 2003 with a 2-1 win away. Haway the 6 in a row 😎
Concentrating on the league pet? 😢
