There is no sale happening, look at Rodwell's comments in the Mirror and reg protect big picture.

This lot aren't going anywhere, not because people won't be interested but because Donald's greed and stubbornness to drop the asking price will prevent any sale going through... it's unbelievable he's trying to cling on despite being universally hated.

Rodwell is here to take all the heat and both are lucky we aren't allowed in to games currently.

Part of the problem is that there's not really a solution even if he doesn't think we can get promoted and wants out. It's all about whether someone offers enough for him to not take a big loss. Maybe some pressure from us would help, I don't know.

At this current stage, I'd estimate that the minimum someone needs to pay is £28m just for Donald to break even and address the FPP loan (which is complex and fluid but let's not go there). That would involve him writing off what he currently owes to the club, which is not really ok, but may be the lesser of two evils.

If someone is offering less than that though, can anyone really see him giving up millions of pounds of his own cash just to get a deal over the line, when he essentially has a way of financing one last shot at promotion, using the £9m FPP money (that I believe was not spent last season), to fund the short term covid losses?

And these monthly losses, we are told donald doesnt fund them, so someone somewhere is taking these multi million losses over the months and seemingly doing nothing about it.

Nah, I think he still had the vast majority of the FPP loan to play with. It's not ideal as it needs paying back one day, but it's easy short term finance, that's why I don't think he's likely to sell up unless the deal is right.

Just to be clear mate, I don't get PM's regarding any takeover news. I am referring to what @Hawyatt Earp has posted in reference to the takeover being close and the appalling opinion that the owners have of us as fans. If this is to fall through, those screenshots should be made public to escalate the downfall of these inept fuckers. The poster in question has categorically stated that they will
