Totally get that. I can only conclude others are worse in training or those who train well and are fit then fail on match day. Maybe Wyke runs fast and jumps in training, maybe the youngsters don’t
Wyke is probably the only player in the squad that can occupy two centre halves and create a bit of havoc to allow midfield runners to get beyond him. It’s a bit Charles Hughes but it is what it is.

How do you feel about none of our youngsters being involved yet again? Sanderson is not one of our youngsters and Parkinson said in the press that he would create a pathway for our young talent. Why do you think he has decided not to do this in practice?
No point even asking him man. He’d defend parky no matter what

I don't know much about Sanderson, what's his natural position?

Idk if the bust-up rumours are true; Leadbitter was poor the last day but has generally been pretty good this season. I think Scowen offers more than Power tbh.

Haven't been keeping up to date the last few days, I presume O'Nien is injured?

Suspended after two yellows against Pompey.

I'm a big fan of Neil and I expect to see him feature more this season. The time has to be right for the player too, but I see no reason why he can't be more involved. Let's review mid-season.
We are right to be upset about the loss of talent from the club - the club via Rodwell, Jones and Parkinson have said they will create a pathway for youngsters to try to offset that loss. This is our 9th game (including the cup) and we have seen one youngster get about 60 minutes. If he was serious he would have Diamond on the bench as we have so many similar players clogging up the bench. This is massively upsetting the fans and you know that he is not being true to his word in opening up a pathway. Diamond is 20 - he's had a full season in adult football, been MOTM at Wembley, was our best player in pre-season - they are all facts. We don't need a mid-season review for Diamond - ignore my points if you want but you know EXACTLY what I am getting at and the fans are not fooled whatsoever - my prediction is he'll play Diamond in the Cup but not much else and he'll leave at the end of the season.

Honeyman was streets ahead of at least 3 of the midfielders who regularly get a game .
Shows how far we have fallen .
Agreed.
While he wasn't everyone's cup of tea, I'd certainly rate him above our current captain.
