Witcher 3

I’ve hammered this since the new year and I’m not even onto those S (?) islands!

How long do people normally spend on their first play through ?

I keep thinking about buying the Game Of The Year edition and playing through the whole thing again. The platinum is great fun.

I visited as many of the ? On the map as possible and did as many side mission as I could before moving on with the story. I've been playing it again and sive just got to Novigrad.

Still can't fully get my head around it.
Same.

Beat the first lad easily at the beginning of the game but now everyone I ask to play completely batter me.

Even if I try and win the first round, my opponent refuses to back down and beats me with a score of 30 points or something daft just to make sure I don’t win the round.

Either that lad at the beginning let me win or is absolutely horrendous at the game.

I always lost the first round intentionally and tried to keep ahead in terms of cards in hand. Usually helped.

Just picked this up yesterday, I tried it months ago but couldnt get into it but I wanted to give it another go. Been playing it all day, I think Im hooked on it now, trying to do all of the side quests etc in White Orchard before I take on the Griffon.

It’s really good, I got the GOTY edition, by the time I got to the blood and wine DLC, i got pissed off. Just too much of the same thing...Great while it lasted though.

I finished Heart of Stone but like you after that I'd had enough so didn't do much of Blood and Wine. Was thinking of going back to it when it gets the next gen free upgrade. I'll not have a clue what to do like.

Just finished Witcher 2, so finally got 1 and 2 knocked over. Looking forward to tackling this monstrosity (pun intended), might wait for the 'next-gen' upgrade that is due out second half of this year though.

I couldn't get into the older games. Might give them another try.
