What shares you buying?

Anyone else took a punt on Alien Minerals?
Bought some shares Wednesday, after it jumped 50% and share price has doubled again since then.
Picked up a small amount at 1.48p , didn't expect it to go so well.
Looking at the noises coming out of Goldman about the anticpated jump in Silver price over the next few months they'll only go one way.

Also had a small nibble at Alba, the have the rights to a welsh gold mine in the St David's area that has never had modern minig techniques applied. Historically it's produced the highest yields in the UK, and UK mined gold commands a premium.
only in it for £50 worth of shares, if I double my money I'll be happy as it's all going into an ISA for the new bairn.

aye just put it all in the bank and earn 0% interest

What? Translate for those of us who were born on Earth please. Again something that makes 0% sense to me. Couldn't understand a single word you bleathered on about.

If you were trying to be funny or summat please do it through a volunteering translator or tell me beforehand because I'm afraid to say it didn't work.

Well you're obviously able to get on t'internet so look up some of the phrases used in the discussions on here, broaden your knowledge

What knowledge? 😂

I don't think I would be able to get it even if I was told. That's the kick in the arse when you have a learning difficulty (And I do. If I didn't you think I'd be looking at delivery jobs? I would be running a delivery business if I didn't). I find it difficult to learn. That's why it's called a learning difficulty.

Why joint the discussion then if comprehending any of it is beyond your capability?

Sorry, I had no knowledge of your circumstances. But if that post #524 made 0% sense to you, that is no sense at all, then 0% interest means no interest paid at all.

Because I said in the beginning you are playing with fire getting into stocks and shares. I don't believe in it. It could lead to the same problems gamblers face. As such it is my duty to warn people of something they may not recover from.

Plus if you have money in a bank, historically you may have been paid interest on those funds by the bank. Negative Interest means that the bank will charge you for keeping your funds with it
