The US financed take-over of Burnley inspired an interesting article in The Sunday Telegraph about US investors stalking English clubs, all thinking about doing what Fenway Sports has done at Liverpool. The article quotes Paul Conway, who heads a US investment consortium who bought Barnsley in 2017, they also own a Swiss and a Belgian club. He is sceptical about the valuation being put on clubs at the moment. "They don't make any sense", taking Southampton as an example, where Gao, the majority shareholders 80% shareholding is valued at £200 million. He says that, "for lower half (of the Prem) teams, they, (Southampton) are a bad run of games from relegation and then you are looking at valuation of £40-£50 million". Time for a re-think Mr Donald?

The other thing is, it seems that the Premier League clubs are close to providing a £250 million bailout to the EFL. It is apparently only to cover gate receipt losses, but as we have the biggest gates in the EFL, will we get the most money, and is this a life saver for Donald and his motley crew?

Yeah mentioned last week but Donald will be thinking about help coming from above (not that type) when he's considering the financial outlook. Ultimately so many clubs are at risk that they will have to do something long before it fucks Donald over.

Mad Berb used to have entertainment value if nothing else but now he's been outed as having multiple log ins and is about as ITK as the boardroom tea lady (She's probably way more ITK) his credibility has waned somewhat to put it mildly. There was a curious post where the normally buffoon bob must have had a few too many and forgot which log in he was using. The usual typos and horrendous spelling mistakes disappeared and no cryptic clues, uncanny.

The Chairman is here, the Academy mange my post still stands, the recruitment new team are in place but due to Covid 19, we cant do much.
