Aye, I've heard from people I know and trust in real life, I've had messages from people I don't know but who say they're itk. And fuck me, everyone is saying a different thing. I'm at the point now where it isn't worth getting excited by good sounding posts or worried by negative ones. I just hope to fuck something is sorted soon, that Donald goes and that a new person with a clue is in place!

Whether they have or they haven’t I would sooner take administration now rather than suffer another year of Donald’s stewardship, it’s just further delaying the inevitable. New owners could come in and use the money they would have handed over to Donald to rebuild the club and get us out of this mess!

Ah that's class mate, glad she's had a bit of good news, deserves it. I'm sure the takeover will sort itself out in due time. Donald knows he can't afford us, and as the Peterborough owner said yesterday we're a bit of a good purchase in many ways. It'll happen, I just don't think it'll be as soon as we all want. Been a bit draining having this go on for over a year, so I can quite understand people just wanting it done by now but in reality no buyer will feel much of a rush

My view on this is that we’ve been ahead of where it’s actually at.
so when someone says it’s at EFL stage we are ahead on here and it’s more like a few weeks from actually being at the efl stage.
just my thinking mind. I do know that the current mob can’t afford us and are frantically looking to get out but are sticking to a stupidly high fee.
It’ll drop though in time if the the circumstances don’t change.

Thing is though, there's no guarantee that a new owner would be any more successful, particularly in the short term.
If, we somehow manage to get someone who knows what they are doing, (Probably more unlikely than likely) They could build some decent foundations, turn the academy around even employ some better people. However there's little room for manouvre in the transfer market, they can't come in and hoy £5m at it and buy promotion.
Waiting for a takeover feels like waiting for the covid vaccination. We seem to be expecting everything to be ok when they come along, but it won't happen overnight will take a bit longer. Hopefully the current team are good enough to go up, a new owner and promotion would be a good bit of momentum.

A deal is “close” (but remember we’ve been close before). He’s also been told it’s not Fuhrman buying Donald’s shares (which was a massive shock to me). At first I thought he’s being messed around but he was quite adamant where that rumour came from and was keen to rubbish it. He was previously told it wasn’t Storey either. He shouldn’t really have said anything to be fair, but he just wanted to keep peoples spirits up as we’re in this turgid division for another year.
anyway, it was passed on in good faith, I’m sure it’ll all come out soon, whether it goes through or not.
