Agreed. I didn't want him and still dont but, as he's has pre season and signed players, he has to have 8-10 games to show what he's capable of.

Looks like he sees Scowen as Maguire’s understudy ! Leadbitter is Dobsons understudy and Graham as Grigg and Wyke’s understudy. If the former are all available then the understudies won’t be picked

I despise the Graham signing. But I will admit, he’s the best of our 3 shite strikers, yet is third in the pecking order! Just shows the incompetence of the plank we have in charge!

There will not be many kinder games than Bristol Rovers at home. He has managed 1 point from the last 2 league games against the team that finished 14th last season.
The longer he is here the less likely promotion will be achieved

I find the 'hate' for PP embarrassing. Its not based on anything more than pre conceived opinions of him. I couldn't give a fuck if he has a dour persona. Give the guy a f***ing chance.

I do get that mate, I just mean that rather than giving him 10 games or whatever I think the next three will tell us everything we need to know. If we do really well in them he'll have earned more games imo but if we struggle we might as well not wait until November or whenever to get rid.
 
Don't think it matters one jot who the manager is as long as Donald is still in charge. Fractured club at the minute and far too much negativity (rightly so; his doing) around the place. The manager the vast majority of fans did not want, is on an 18 month contract. He ain't going anywhere whilst the owner is here. Welcome to Sunderland. This is what good looks like.

I'd happily get rid now. I think we'll look back on this very much the same as the Jack Ross sacking, 'should have been done as soon as the season finished'.
He's proven with his team selection on Saturday that he hasn't learned a thing from last season.

I can live with him being dour. I can sort of live with what happened last season. What I can’t live with is him doing the same tired shit this time that didn’t work last time. I dont think I’ve come across anyone so intransigent and pig headed.
