Didn't mean that Tories had to agree..... Although they probably thought great we'll say yes and then can say we didn't instigate this it came from the local authorities up there in the NE.

Just said the same to the wife. I really can’t see the police being that arsed about grandparents and childcare.

Sadly though, there will be elements desperate to grass up grandparents looking after kids though

Possibly, but I’d love to see a copper issue a fine to grandparents mind then try and enforce them after they refuse to pay the fine.

It’s got Daily mail headline written all over it

The NE councils requested that childcare was excluded from the restrictions. The Govt rejected it and instead created this shitshow

Can be a PC, a PCSO or an officer appointed by the Council. So not just NP or DP.
