Theyre just making it up as they go along. Councils quickly asked the government to do this without any thought about things. Utter shamblesUpdate from North Tyneside re 'informal childcare'- presumably this will be consistent across the region.
We know a lot of people wanted to know about childcare.
The regulations are published and have confirmed - ‘Informal’ childcare, for example grandparents looking after children, should not take place during these new restrictions, unless they’re in your support bubble.
I can vouch for that
That is banned there mate. Not advised but banned. A fine will be in the post if you have curtain twitchers in the the street.I'm still going to relatives houses like. My lad is in nursery with 25 kids and 4 teachers and I go to work mixing with 100's of people every day.
So do I and I’m going to openly break the rule and couldn’t give a fuck who knows tbh.I do and guarantee that I won't be confined to the house
I have to agree regarding child care. They want to get the economy going yet there will be people having to stay off work unpaid because they dont have anyone to watch the bairns. I realise that it’s not practical to find a one size fits all solution, but they should have given this more thought. As an aside I wonder if Cummings has any chums that do home childcare?Theyre just making it up as they go along. Councils quickly asked the government to do this without any thought about things. I’d love to see the police try and enforce it.That is banned there mate. Not advised but banned. A fine will be in the post if you have curtain twitchers in the the street.

It’s either that or I don’t go to work, along with 14 members of staff at our place. At best we could run a part time curriculum.
Imagine that now across the NE. Might as well go full lockdown
These are the deaths within 28 days of a positive test from earlier in the year. They went from single figures to 1000 a day in a four week period. This is what happens when the virus is allowed to spread exponentially. There are some on here advocating we return to normal. This is what return to normal is likely to give us. This is what the current restrictions are there to prevent.

We aren't being asked to stay confined to the house.
I was calling out those advocating a total return to normal which would certainly see us at that level of cases. Most sensible people are supportive of a certain level of restriction. These numbers were when we were getting estimated 100k cases per day 250k a day even mentioned we are no where near tht but its a hard balancing act to find something normal buyt keep control
Binned asda off in March. Even at the height of it, social distancing didn’t happen in there. Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s is a lot more sensible
They'd need proof though wouldn't they. My Mam looks after the lad and my Sister in Law does too. That is banned there mate. Not advised but banned. A fine will be in the post if you have curtain twitchers in the the street.
