Wasn't there someone on here who commented on a DN thread quite a while ago whereby he was his Job Centre Officer and he invited him out for a drink but he didn't go?

He’s f***ing with them
He's not, nillson and his legal team argument was that he was not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter by diminished responsibility... (eg he wasn't in full control of his actions) the program hasn't made this completely clear yet. The police expected him to plead guilty to murder

Dave T is generally underrated as an actor. I'm biased as I've seen him on stage a fair few times and he is always brilliant. I was due to see him next month, but the play's been postponed till next year.
What did you think of him with Michael Sheen in Staged? It grew on me but was a bit hammy in places.
Read the book about him when I was in my early teens. Grim and fascinating.
I had you down as older.

I loved Staged, I thought their friendship came across well. I didn't see it as hammy or particularly theatrical at all. But on the other hand I can see how it could be performed on stage but I don't have a problem with that. I am a bit of an old luvvie anyway.

Will be some Walter Mitty still living in his Mams spare bedroom

Listened to the casefile podcast on this guy, I think that is enough on the topic for me. He seemed like a pretty one dimensional boring fucker who just had a kink for killing lads. Don't expect it to be very interesting to see it portrayed on screen.

He was a Guardian reader - might he have been the first Pinko Paddy-Pants-down serial killer?

Of course none of us red-blooded socialists would ever have been so debauched...

Dennis shortened man hew ;)

Agreed, really great - ITV should be making more of this type of thing, we all love a good drama . Last part tonight sadly.
There's been a few recently though, the quiz one, Little Boy Blue, Jeremy Bamber, this and the one about the Sydenham murder, although that was more documentaryish. Seems like once they hit a popular genre there's suddenly a glut.
