hope it’s not to severe as business will die from this then then councils will be have no funds, we get taxed more . Nasty circle .

Anyoje know if deaths and hospital admissions have rose significantly ? IE double digit percent ?

To be fair, it’s been like this in Manchester for a while and it’s not really made a distance. It’s hard to enforce really. Pubs may ask if you live together and people will just reply yes.

Another victory for the Covid Taliban who would have us living like Puritans for the rest of our days.

Just impose restricted hours, for God's sake. Give people something to look forward to, a change of scenery at least, after sitting staring at the same four walls all week.

It'll be a grim old existence once we get through this if we destroy the hospitality and tourist industries to do it - millions on the dole and f@@k all for those lucky enough to have jobs to spend their money on.

All the mortgage-free, gold-plated pension types will be lapping it up though. You know, the ones who love to call everyone else selfish.
