PS5 Event

ANOTHER version of GTA5, just make a new one ffs.

They most likely will be but 5 still makes them loads and 'still' features in top 20 sales to this day.
No sure whether to buy TLOU2 on physical to have something for a shelf (usually buy digital) or go digital just so I can pre-install.

A fiver off when you risk spreading Covid-19. Interesting tactic.
Haha good point. We've collected some toys for the bairn from there recently and they just have a hatch you collect your stuff from outside so not as bad as it could be. Probably make closer contact with the delivery driver who would drop it off

Yeah but its possibly getting on public transport etc isnt it

In the long run you'll probably pay more, though, right? Weirdly, physical copies tend to be far cheaper than digital.

Can also rent physical copies making it far far cheaper

I dont mind the design so much but it would look hideous in my TV unit. Everything is black!

It looks ok but it'd look far better if it was just black. As it is, being black and white it'll go in the bottom of my TV stand behind closed doors. I'll just fit a silent fan to the back of it so cooler air gets blown in

It's f***ing awful to look at like. I won't be getting one until they release a black version. Same as someone else has said, everything else I have is black, this would stand out like a sore thumb.

The latest rumour is £450 for disc version and £350 for digital version which I think is fair enough. Would probably get the disc version at those prices. If digital was £150-200 less I'd probably change my decision

Digital Version looks better. Wonder how they price them?

Wonder how many will go for the digital only version?

Storage space an issue with current gen, and you lost the ability to buy and sell second hand games.

Seems there will be a 2TB version which sounds plenty, but who knows how big games will be 5 years from now?

Mind you, having only recently started using my PS4 again after a few years, I've been pleasantly surprised how cheap games are on the PA store.

The games I've played over the last year alone from my rental service would've cost about £450/500 to buy digitally. The rental service has cost me £120 so I've saved well over £300 in just one year. I'd be daft getting the digital version unless it was free

Games now are quite a bit bigger than they will be on the PS5.

I reckon £500 quid for digital and £600 for disk drive.

I was watching some youtube video about the way the new SSD runs it might negate some file sizes as it can load in data when needed rather than basically have it all waiting off screen. Something to that effect......I have no idea of the technical aspects.

Another showcase event on Wednesday. Should get price and release date I’d say.

I can't justify the outlay for one right now but no doubt won't be able to resist

I'd be surprised if the disc version is more than 500 based on the new xbox prices.

I wonder if they'll do a finance option with PS Plus as Xbox have done with Game Pass.
