The walk along the coast between Kippford and Rockliffe is beautiful. Good fishing around there too.I am positive that is just along the road from the Steamboat Inn lovely pub and lovely part of the country. Our lass's (no) auntie (also no) used to live in kipford nearby was gutted when they sold they sold up and moved as we used to stay with them 2-3 times a year
I've found it on Google earth. It's only a couple of hundred yards west of the Steamboat !I am positive that is just along the road from the Steamboat Inn lovely pub and lovely part of the country. Both nice, and would fit in with my isolated living style, but too big for just me and the missus. Although even as I like that style of living, I'd still like to walk to the local pub, or do some local helping out, charity sort of things, you'd have to get in the car to do anything in those places. There's some class properties on there!

Yeah this isn't as cheap as first thought. It's thick end of 30 grand.

There does seem to be a fashion for wine cellars, but unless you mass cater or collect vintage wines, what is the point? I suspect many are filled with £10 supermarket bottles. If you get low, add more to the weekly shop. Our lass keeps going on about fitting a wine cellar I then pointed out we have a table with space for 8 bottles of wine under and she drinks it so quick is nearly always empty so why would we need a space for dozens of bottles
Also if you want some Candian house porn this one is a bit architectural for me - up the road from where we are

Bit of a hobby for some people. I quite like discovering new stuff and usually order a case or 2. Starting to get a hit out of control now tbh. Wed night wine is now getting expensive. There does seem to be a fashion for wine cellars, but unless you mass cater or collect vintage wines, what is the point? I’ve got a rack that holds 7 bottles and it is half full. I did have a bit of an excess of red wine at the start of the year, but lockdown and two online quiz groups have really helped sort out that problem.
