Takeover News/Rumours

I think the Chairman will be Obrien if hes involved as said

But not necessarily a shareholder, which is possibly causing confusion. You could get a similar situation to Chelsea or Newcastle, where the owner isn't on the board, but appoints someone they trust (Bruce Buck/Lee Charnley) to do the chairman's job.

So I’ve been finally been told I can say everything I’ve been told, for the sake of the club and all the fans I hope it’s true

Out of FPP furhman was the one who always wanted to do the takeover, the other 2 were unsure, so the come to an agreement to do the loan in the mean time until the decided and to get the price the want

furhman believes now he might lose the club if he doesn’t act now,

he’s got the deal on table and has put in place for the other 2 and dell to join when ready

santori wants to stay on so has come to a deal with furhman to keep his % he’s also trying to get his father in law

so the deal would be

Santori 20%
His f in law 6%
And furhman and potentially the dell and the rest with 74%
O’Brien will have a part to play
if the deal is accepted it could be done as soon as Friday

SD has another 2 deals on the table

MG
And story’s
I don’t know anything about them

Apparently big meeting on Tuesday but don’t know anything about it and what it’s about but by the sounds of it Could be crunch week

that’s everything I know and really hope it’s true

^

That was his post for people wondering. Made last month

They have both spelled "furhman", which is obviously wrong.

Make of that what you will.

I was thinking chairman again but DOF is a possibility though I'd prefer someone else for that role

I say just get him on the board like Dave Jones (who I hope is kept on if we are taken over) and have him be a (fairly well-paid) cheerleader/ influencer for us. The more football people in and around the club the better, contacts and insiders are important. One thing our current lot clearly had a problem with in the past has been agents fleecing them because they had no links with other clubs or people in the game/ idea of where to go. Also, we have seemingly struggled to hire/ attract big-name candidates for various roles, head of recruitment/ head of the academy being an obvious one.

However, if this is true, that name is going to compete with Xhemajli in the great misspelling competition. Whenever I type it (and I've used both versions), I'm never sure I've got it right.

I think we're probably at the point now where we can assume something is going to happen in the next 3 weeks.

I hope it's Furhman and co and we're minted, but one thing I will say because we haven't had full confirmation as to who it is yet, as long as the people coming in aren't like Donald and his merry men, can fund us off their own backs, or it isn't half a deal that ends up with a continuation of their influence on the club, I'm good with it.
Whoever the new owner is their approach and strategy is far more important than their personal wealth. I don’t care who takes over so long as there is a long term recruitment and academy strategy put in place. Money isn’t our issue it’s how it’s being spent.
