It's actually saying quite a lot. If the lawyers are arguing about the impact of different Covid situations, it means that a deal has almost certainly been agreed in principle, but the price could be subject to adjustment if a further full lockdown occurs.

Huge delays at my place because some just will not adapt to digital signatures. Funny seeing people freak out over delays when I know I'm sat on stuff from a month ago that just needs someone to provide written affirmation, a lot of people just don't really realise everything's on screens now, no-one's going to ring them and tell them what to sign. That alone can easily delay a basic admin procedure by 2/3 weeks.
