Can’t imagine him travelling every day from home mind, I’m sure he’ll have a base somewhere- if he hasn’t relocated his family.

Sorry I just can’t see it, again a rumour backed up with no substance.
 
The Marwood rumour has been doing the rounds for 5 years now :D I'd love it to happen but come on... he has one of the best jobs in football. I can't see him leaving it for us at this stage.
 
Marwood would be an amazing appointment but feels a little pie in the sky.

The only thing going for it other than geography is that the Americans may be willing to pay him a hell of a lot, and he may want a new challenge after 11 years at City. And whilst he's MD there he has a lot of oversight from above, you'd imagine if he came to Sunderland he'd be pretty much THE guy as far as decisions are concerned.
