As has been pointed out numerous times (but some keep ignoring) if you did a google search of his name two months ago the result was a portrait of an absolute charlatan who has no money and a big mouth. Made a mess of his involvement with F1, a shitty energy drinks business that you can't buy products by anywhere, a business is late on its accounts reporting and due in court, etc.

Now he appears like a connected businessman with enough capital and contacts to buy a big football club in England.

He's also just an attention seeking twat, so he'll be enjoying that too.

Everybody knows about his dodgy past, just don't see what he's getting out of all this takeover stuff if it's all a load of rubbish

Not being the guy only known as a demonstrable liar. He can bail at any point and make out the problem was at the club's end and he was good for the cash.
 
Chris Wetherspoon has been great in the past taking the club the account, but since Donald made that remark about him hes going a bit too far trying to keep himself relevant. Tweeting “Gut feelings” wont help in the slightest.

Weatherspoon has been largely correct in spirit about our owners since Donald tried to hang him out to dry. I disagree on some of his detail, but we both - along with a number of posters on here - foreshadowed the potential creative accounting that has come to pass.

So basically, why shouldn't he tweet about his gut feeling? He's proven himself a bigger fan than any of us, which one day I hope becomes more public knowledge.
