Well we know with the Saudis it's a political gain at a relatively, (for them) small price.
Good to see they've gone a long way to help him buy DW Sports with the £17 million deposit.

Have we had any further info about Xhemjali from Parkinson?

Heard earlier he was back in Switzerland but negotiations ongoing. Doesn't sound too promising. If we were expecting him to sign I'd be requesting he stays local to avoid unnecessary travel and possible quarantine laws coming into place.

Shame as he looks very decent.

He would surely have to go home first before he did sign to sort out potentially numerous things

Parky reckons he was due to fly home after the weekend.....likes him as a player......got to fit in with salary cap.......negotiations will continue.....have other options in that position so need to get things right overall

Said he's gone back but that was always the plan. Thinks he's a good player but we have other options for that position (I'm not sure if he means other possible transfer targets or other people in the squad who could play there). Negotiations are ongoing.

You blame Short for putting our club in the mess it’s undoubtedly in, but attach little or no blame to our present owners for using £32m parachute payments to buy us and then writIng off £20.5m In the process, I still haven’t a clue why 🤷🏻‍♂️

We were linked with Charlie Goode from Northampton earlier as well. Don't know anything about him but he ended up signing for Brentford so it looks like we might at least be identifying decent players. I think we would have already signed him if it hadn't been for this stupid Salary cap.
