If any credible entity is looking into buying the club, you would imagine they have some pretty smart people doing due diligence for them. These people are likely to know the state of SD's mighty business empire. If it's ok negotiate now, if it's not, just wait and buy it off the liquidator, it's the cheapest option, though not without risks.

That would result in charges over his or the club's assets. See FPP's loan to Madrox. He actually can't borrow any more against the club without the express permission of FPP. To put it in simple terms, your mortgage lender wouldn't be too chuffed if you took out a big loan secured on your house. This is exactly the same. If he's borrowing, they'd have to be personal loans.

I do know that FPP used Deloitte for the financial stuff.

How can that be allowed ? If that was the case it would be easy to circumnavigate the rules on owning more than one club. You would just have to start a new business and buy a new club with that.

I would imagine its cause Furhman has nowt to do with MSD and only has interest now in FPP

I guarantee that the league would not allow fpp to own us and msd to own derby or Southampton or vice versa.

Regardless of fpp being its own entity MSD is still being run by the same people (less fuhrman following recent events)

To be fair, SD did a short interview about 3 weeks prior to him taking over.

Said he didn't see it happening, would have to be a wonderful deal to be able. We know now what a wonderful deal is.

At lot of people feel its fuhrman... but i do wonder if there is some horse trading or at least consideration between Platek and Phelan about on boarding on this, even in a small way. These type of men can see huge opportunities where others see only problems, to fix safc , getting out of lg1 wouldn't be that hard for these type of men... even that modest achievement brings its own rewards
