I had, the lad I used to get info from got it direct from SD and I seen the texts first hand but Donald stopped texting him a while ago
But I got a text tonight from a relative of the lad which said that they can't agree a price ATM

Absolutely standard for end-game negotiations. Both sides play hardball for as long as they can. If both sides want a deal, it will happen, but they'll both hold on for 100% of what they want till the eleventh hour (plus fifty nine minutes on occasion). Typical last minute lawyer stuff.

Three accountants write for us so I'd be happy to get them involved in looking over a credible offer if someone wants to put something our way, but we've not been approached as such just yet so... aye. William Storey offered to meet us to put us straight but never followed through on it when we told him we'd be happy to meet with accountants present. There are a lot of chancers out there right now who are looking to take advantage of our club, and having been taken in as much as anyone the last time this happened, the lads and lasses at RR have trust issues this time around...

Stay sceptical marra, whatever happens.

My gut feeling is that Donald will either sell most of his shares or all of them to Sartori, because everything happening right now suggests that the new regime led by Rodwell are going nowhere. And let's be honest, who the fuck is paying £35m in the current climate for a league one club who keep failing to get promoted? It's not happening.

I get that...but there is no denying the potential of the club, as much as its screwed up, the infrastructure is there.
35 mill to these people who may or not be at the table, well that type of money isnt even chicken feed.

I'm fairly convinced that the only people daft enough to pay £35m for Sunderland are those who haven't got a pot to piss in themselves and are relying on the backing of others, a la Storey.

Always happy to be a fourth. Although that will just increase the opinions exponentially :)

Just thought I'd take a look to see where we're at tonight..... So Wee Phillie and that cracker from SAFC fans TV look to be getting fed info from that covidiot Storey saying Donald has turned down a £35m bid.... Pretty much where we're at?

So you don't see the potential of SAFC? How much do you think they'd be worth in the top flight? 35m is a steal.

But other than rodwell really who is left? With Neil fox supposedly going there going to be many of donalds men around. I don’t think sartori has ever had an interest in being majority shareholder. Also with the deal as suggested the 37 million donald wants suddenly becomes 22 after the loan and only 74% shares.

No wasn’t Storey feeding the info. It was a grown man, who supports Sunderland, just making the story up for attention. His explanation/ story was ripped apart fairly quickly and his probably feeling more then a little silly.

How much would it cost to get us there?

How much would we be losing per season if we put in as much money as you're proposing?

Is it guaranteed?
What do you reckon then? 5m? Great ground, huge crowds and worth 200 to 300m if and when we get to premier. I don't know the figure but 35m does not seem high.
