There's a hell of a lot been said about him that's just utter bollocks, he has definitely caused some of the problems himself and he'd admit that but it is absolutely ridiculous what certain people have said and insinuated about him.

I agree he's said a lot of things, if you listen to his interview with Barnes though he basically admits that, he said he didn't realise that absolutely everything he said would be scrutinized to the nth degree, you have to remember that someone who's grown up supporting Oxford doesn't really appreciate what it's like to live amongst north east football, you don't get this kind of scrutiny in any London club, I mean of course you get fans who hate you but we as fans have absolutely chewed the fat over everything he's ever said on a podcast, he probably just thought he'd have a bit if crack with fans and a pint and we'd all just understand if we didn't get promoted which isn't ever gonna happen at a club like ours in league one.
